 Welcome to my site. I am  a Professor of Economics at  the  Center for  Development Studies (CENDES) of the 
 Central  University  of  Venezuela (UCV) and a member of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the
 same university,  where I teach undergraduate and graduate students. Until August 2009, I was member of the 
 Faculty and Visiting  Scholar at the New School University in NY, USA.  I hold a PhD in Economics from the 
   University of Siena, Italy, an MSc in Economics and Finance  from Warwick  University, England, UK, and a  
  Master’s  degree in  Political  Economy from the University of  Siena. One of my contributions is the notion of 
   international  monetary  asymmetries  and  their  role in the  determination of  the balance sheet structure and  
    behavior  of  the  institutional  sectors  of  both  reserve  issuing  and  reserve  earning  economies. My  interests  
   include:  Macroeconomics, Monetary  and  Financial   Economics, Economic Integration, Stock-Flow Approach 
  to Macroeconomics and Post Keynesian economics in general.
